Dutch Acupuncture Academy

Apprenticeship

Apprenticeship is of utmost importance when becoming a qualified therapist. It is often neglected and underestimated in TCM education in western countries. Therefore Dutch Acupuncture Academy put our extra efforts into practical education, which our students have highly praised.

  • All DAA students will follow the clinical practice with  one or more of our lecturers.
  • The DAA students can look for an external apprenticeship supervisors.
  • All DAA students Must follow the demo consultation and treatment from the lecturers in the classroom and receive hands-on instruction.
  • DAA regularly organise the apprenticeship trip to China, where you will walk alongside and learn from doctors in the hospital. This program is highly recommended but not compulsory.
