Stage
Een stage is van het grootste belang voor een gekwalificeerde therapeut. Het wordt vaak verwaarloosd en onderschat in het TCG-onderwijs in westerse landen. Daarom heeft Dutch Acupuncture Academy extra ingezet op praktijkonderwijs, wat door onze studenten zeer hebben geprezen.
- All DAA students will follow the clinical practice with one or more of our lecturers.
- The DAA students can look for an external apprenticeship supervisors.
- Alle DAA-studenten moeten het demo-consult en de behandeling van de docenten in de klas volgen en hands-on instructie krijgen.
- DAA organiseert regelmatig de stagereis naar China, waar je meeloopt en leert van artsen in het ziekenhuis. Dit programma wordt sterk aanbevolen, maar is niet verplicht.
Stageregelingen
Foundation of Chinese Medicine:
- Begeleide stage door de docenten: 5 dagen 40 uur; (FTF): Studenten moeten demopatiënten meenemen, de demopatiënten krijgen begeleide intake, analyse van symptomen, tong en pols en TCM-patronen.
- Volg de docenten in de klinische praktijk: 5 dagen 40 uur; (FTF): de student volgt tijdens de klinische praktijk één van de DAA-docenten.
Acupunctuur Jaar 1:
- Supervised internship by the lecturers: 5 days 40 hours; (FTF): Students need to bring demo patients, the demo patients will get supervised intake, analysis of symptoms, Tongue and Pulse and TCM patterns as well as meridians and acupoints analysis, locating, needles choosing, needling techniques, other necessary therapies including moxibustion, cupping, ear acupuncture, electric acupuncture etc.
- Follow the lecturers at clinical practice: 7 days 56 hours; (FTF): the student will follow one of the DAA lecturers during the clinical practice.
Acupunctuur Jaar 2:
- Supervised internship by the lecturers: 8 days 64 hours; (FTF): Students need to bring demo patients, the demo patients will get supervised intake, analysis of symptoms, Tongue and Pulse and TCM patterns as well as meridians and acupoints analysis, locating, needles choosing, needling techniques, other necessary therapies including moxibustion, cupping, ear acupuncture, electric acupuncture etc. Students need to make a proper treatment plan and therapeutic strategy, perform the treatment and give necessary medical advice.
- Follow the lecturers at clinical practice: 14,5 days 116 hours; (FTF): the student will follow one of the DAA lecturers during the clinical practice.
