Exam Policy
There are two exams per year, one academic exam and one practical exam. If the student fails or misses the end of the year exam, students will need to do the retake exam at midterm. The retake exam is without an additional exam fee. (The retake is considered the second exam)
Students who fail the retake exam mentioned above may apply for the third exam opportunity. For this, the student will pay a fee of €100,-
Students who fail or miss the third exam opportunity will be dismissed from the course and further studies at DAA
DAA is authorised by some national TCM associations for the independent challenge exams upon request. Individual challenge exam candidate should pay a surcharge of €300,- for each exam at least 7 days before the exam date.
Cum Laude
Cum Laude is granted to Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine or Tuina course students who have an average score of 8.5 or higher and no single exam below 8.0 without a history of delay or failure.
